Cascade Coffee, Inc. is based in Everett, Washington. The business is split into two distinct divisions: a custom coffee roasting division and an office coffee service division. The two divisions, although related, have distinctly different business customers.
The very detailed and very customizable coffee roasting process Cascade Coffee can perform required an information-rich site aimed at small and large coffee producers. The site's emphasis is on the extremely high quality standards Cascade Coffee can achieve and the number of à-la-carte services available. Little Bee Productions photographed the machinery involved in the roasting process from start to finish.
The coffee service customer base is different from the custom roasting customer base. It mainly targets office managers and includes information about product ordering, equipment rental, and maintenance. Cascade Coffee provides everything necessary for coffee service in a corporate office from coffee machines and filters to coffee, tea, sugar, creamer and stir sticks.
Our challenge was to create a website that would unify these two divisions using the existing, strong Cascade Coffee brand through the design and layout of the user experience.
The final result is a high-quality website that speaks to each target market individually by providing the right information for each segment in an easy-to-access way. At the same time, the website unifies the two divisions using the strong Cascade Coffee in a fresh, modern design rich with imagery.
