Karl’s is a downtown Everett, WA institution. It has been in business since 1944 and under current ownership since 1979. Karl’s has grown from a bakery/deli to include a grill section, espresso coffee, and fine cakes, as well as offering lunchtime catering for local businesses. They have increased the number of special occasion cakes and wedding cakes that they do and their boxed lunch orders are growing so they wanted to provide an online storefront to showcase everything they have to offer.
The site features rotating images on the left side of the page corresponding to the section of the Web site being browsed. The navigation is multi-level and the image gallery is Javascript-based with a user-friendly backend for uploading new images.
