Seashell Real Estate has been selling and renting houses in the Hamptons for over 25 years. The brand is well-established and well-known. Many agencies that sell property in the Hamptons are locally owned and are not online. Properties in this area are not hooked into the national MLS (mulitple listing service) system. The clientele is mainly non-local and so a Web site was needed to connect with those potential clients.
This site was built using the Joomla! content management system. The front-end allows site visitors to search the database of properties for sale according to a custom list of critera and amenities. It also allows visitors to submit information about a property they would like to list. The back-end administration area provides access to all site content as well as to the powerful and customized database of properties.
